Trick for window xp.In windows xp you can create shutdown or reboot shortcut icon
just follow the steps
Step 1: Right click on your desktop area go to "new" option select "shortcut".
Step 2: Now type in "shutdown -s -t 00" for shutdown and for reboot type "shutdown -r -t 00" without quotes.
Step 3:Now just name the folder and hit "finish" button.
Here your shutdown icon created.
